The Ghostbusters’ Proton Pack
This Sci-Fi weapon was somewhat a dark horse in the selection process but as we polled the globe more Diabolical friends selected the signature weapon of the Ghostbusters than any other. The ignition sound cue, and perhaps the paranormal, played into the decision- but what is certain is that this signature weapon has not been forgotten.

The Glaive from Krull
Perhaps the one weapon that surprised (and delighted) Team Diabolical the most during our count down was the long forgotten Glaive weapon from the movie, Krull. Dubbed the killer starfish by a few, it’s the tale of the weapon’s discovery that most intrigued our diabolical minds. Prince Colwyn literally sticks his hand into running lava in order to retrieve the fabled weapon. That takes some serious faith and gigantic cojones. Things could have gone very badly for the pampered prince.

Shadow of Mordor – Though I’m only a few hours into the game, Shadow of Mordor has already captured my attention- mainly due to the excellent battle mechanics borrowed from the Batman Arkham games. I have to admit, there’s something quite therapeutic about being able to freely roam a large section of Middle Earth and getting swept up into Tolkien’s universe. If you’re a fan of Middle Earth, the Batman Arkham games, or just good games in general, I highly recommend giving Shadow of Mordor a try. One word of caution, though the game is available for the PS3, it is a next gen platform game and really performs best on the PS4 or Xbox One.

Cinematic Aquaman – Zach Snyder’s late night tweet reveal of Aquaman from the upcoming “Dawn of Justice” created a buzz in many a fan’s mind. The grittier look and presence of The King of Atlantis is bound to polarize a fan base eagerly anticipating the trailer drop for the DC tentpole movie.
