It’s a medical fact that dehydration can lead to higher levels of anxiety and cause one to see hallucinations; so if you fail to stay hydrated in the heat, you could possibly receive a one way ticket to insanity-ville. Major Arnold Ernst Toht – The Epic Face Melt

In the halls of the Diabolical Penthouse, Ronald Lacey’s performance as Major Arnold Ernst Toht in Raiders of the Lost Ark is nothing short of remarkable. His character makes the film and still remains a favorite among our list of cinematic villains. For the sake of this session, Major Toht gives us one of the best cinematic face melts we’ve ever laid eyes on. One glance at the picture below and you’ll understand why.
